With a strong public health foundation, Lisa-Marie holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Lethbridge. Throughout her master's program, Lisa-Marie actively contributed to nine research projects, honing her skills in proposal writing, data collection, analysis, and publishing research findings. After graduation, Lisa-Marie’s role as a Public Health instructor further validated her passion for public health concepts such as population health, epidemiology, health promotion, and social determinants of health. Lisa-Marie enjoys her position as a research analyst at the Prentice Institute for Global Population and Economy, as it allows her to apply a public health lens to various research activities while considering local and global contexts.
