Ruth entered the ward with a smile. This gave her patients the needed assurance that they were in safe hands and would receive optimum care. She chuckled at irony of things. She was on the verge of burnout as she spends each day delivering quality care to her patients whilst taking care of her family and growing in her career. However, who takes care of her? Moreover, how exactly should she be cared for? She took a deep breath.
Like Ruth, it is high time we paused for a moment to identify if we, as carers, need care.
