The Prentice Institute Work Integrated Learning program currently involves a partnership with the City of Lethbridge City Scholars program, where the City engages students in blended work-academic experiential opportunities.
This collaboration aligns with the mandate of the institute to support the development of evidence-based policy to guide Canadians and their governments in addressing difficult challenges.
Through a partnership with the City of Lethbridge City Scholars Program, the Institute seeks to establish a broad platform for ongoing cooperation involving student training and research collaboration between University faculty and City staff. Applied practice in an urban municipality provides students with a valuable training experience, while the City has the opportunity to shape the next generation of urban planners, policymakers and innovators.
