Shada Aborawi is an undergraduate student in Political Science and Social Studies Education, and passionate about community organizing and advocacy.
She worked as the Outreach & Advocacy Coordinator with the Campus Collective Centre for two years prior to becoming a research assistant with the Prentice Institute, and is involved in mental health advocacy at various levels. Shada sits on the national Youth Council for the Mental Health Commission of Canada where she draws on her lived experience and knowledge to inform mental health policy in Canada.
